Happy Valentine's Day, all!
Today I write this blog for you with the exact same point of view about Valentine's day as I did last year, although I am in a very different place in my life. It's so funny how some things change yet other things remain exactly the same. I still think this holiday is extremely superficial, and instead should be more about telling the special people in our lives that we love them rather than showering them in gifts... But that's just me!
As every Valentine's day comes and goes I am reminded of the most precious Love I am continually shown every day, even though I am so undeserving. It never changes, never falters, never fails. This morning as I was starting my day I turned my iPod on shuffle and the song All for Love by Hillsong United was the first song to play. What a perfect way to start this holiday of love! I would like to encourage each of you to take a listen and celebrate the lyrics of this song. As this holiday passes the flowers will wither and the excitement will diminish, but the Love of our Father will remain today and forevermore. Whether you are single, married, or dating, let this Love be the very center of your celebration today.
